"Extremis" is the first release by Sunfall! Musically this song touches on aspects the band are exploring musically with their upcoming releases from groove orientated riffs, to heavy beat-downs, to highly ambient/atmospheric soundscapes.

Lyrically this song vents the frustration we harbour towards our stalling as a race to help ourselves, other species and this planet from a certain demise. We like to excuse our actions be it a lack of empathy or laziness, or for people falling back to religion to justify a lack of action, with the whole "Gods plan" premise.

There's a accusatory finger being pointed and it's being pointed outwards at the world, inwards at ourselves as well all have ways we can better and towards "God".
